Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. You can request the deletion of your The Fur Finder account and all associated data at any time, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

Your account details (email, display name, phone number)
All pet reports you have created
All registered pet profiles
Your comments on pet reports
Biometric scan data
Notification history
Referral and ambassador data
Likes, blocks, and content reports
Subscription and consent records

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the App

Open The Fur Finder and log in
Go to Settings (gear icon)
Scroll down to Account
Tap Delete My Account
Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to the address below
Include the email address associated with your account
We will process your request within 48 hours

📧 Request Account Deletion via Email

Data Retention

Once your account is deleted:

All personal data is immediately removed from our active database
Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days
Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained
